Mike Faye, M.Sc.
Marjory Phillips, Ph.D., C.Psych. Clinical Director e. mphillips at integra.on.ca t. 416-486-8055, ext 224 Marjory obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo. She has a passion for working with children with disabilities and their families. Before joining Integra in October 2007, Marjory started a community-based children’s Psychology Clinic at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to that, she worked for twelve years as a clinician and manager in a multidisciplinary children’s treatment centre, providing assessment and treatment to children with disabilities. At the treatment centre, Marjory’s work also included community consultation and the development of educational programming regarding pediatric acquired brain injuries.
Karen Milligan, Ph.D., C.Psych. Director of Research and Psychology e. kmilligan at integra.on.ca t. 416-486-8055, ext 232 Karen Milligan received her Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Integra in March 2009, she provided treatment and assessment services for children with learning disabilities and/or social-emotional difficulties at The Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Karen has a passion for understanding factors that place children at risk for social and emotional difficulties and developing new and innovative ways to intervene to better the lives of children and their families. Her research interests include program evaluation, learning disabilities, parent-child relationships, emotion regulation, peer relations, and behavior problems.
Nicola Bangham, M.A. Director, Camp Towhee e. nbangham at integra.on.ca t. 416-486-8055, ext 230 Nicola Bangham returned to Camp Towhee after a three-year hiatus working in other settings including West Africa as a therapist for United Nations Staff and as the Program Director of Pine River Institute, a Residential Addictions Treatment Centre for adolescents, in rural Ontario. Nicola holds a Masters of Creative Arts Therapies from Concordia University. In 1999 she started her career at Towhee, with 5 of her 7 years as the Assistant Camp Director, and at Integra, as a Child and Family Therapist. Nicola is delighted to be back "home" at Towhee and Integra where the staff are exceptional and the kids are an inspiration.
Ellen Nichols, B.Sc., D.C.S. Director, Resource Development e. enichols at integra.on.ca t. 416-486-8055, ext 248 Using her B.Sc. in Music Performance and the Institute of Child’s Study Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Ellen began her career as Supervisor of Recreation for the Hospital for Sick Children in the mid ‘70s. In 1988 her career took a sharp turn when she volunteered with Norman Jewison in helping him start up the Canadian Film Centre. She discovered she had a knack for charitable fundraising and became their first Director of Development. After four years there, she has continued in the field of development, working for the Hincks Centre for Children’s Mental Health, University of Toronto’s Faculty of Arts and Science, CAPIC National Show, Education Wife Assault and YWCA of Greater Toronto before settling in at Integra in 2001. In her volunteer life, she serves on the Board of Directors of Esprit Orchestra and Springtide Resources. She is responsible for all aspects of Integra fundraising and communications and is aided in her efforts by Jacqueline Beckford, Fundraising & Communications Coordinator.
