Individual Counselling

Integra's family therapist team is comprised of compassionate, highly educated, and innovative leaders in the field of learning disabilities and mental health. Our staff is dedicated to helping children and youth understand their disabilities and develop coping mechanisms, improved self-esteem and confidence.

Individual counseling is an excellent opportunity for children and youth to receive support in dealing with such issues as self esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, or problem solving. Children and youth may meet with their therapist individually over a period of time when this appears to best suit their needs. Older children usually engage in discussion with the therapist about relevant issues. Younger children may more appropriately use play as a method for communicating their concerns.
