Camp Towhee

Integra's Camp Towhee is a unique therapeutic summer camp program located on a beautiful lakefront property in Haliburton, Ontario. Camp Towhee provides kids with learning disabilities an environment in which they feel safe - sometimes for the first time. They can relax, learn about themselves, make new friends and discover their strengths, abilities and talents. All the while, they receive personalized treatment and counseling to enhance self-esteem, social and problem-solving skills, independence and self-awareness.

Camp Towhee encourages campers to take part in five therapeutic programs: Adventure Based Learning, Outtripping and Outdoor Living Skills, Aquatics, Experiential Arts, and Yak N' Snack. Through participation in these activities and group experiences, campers feel successful and competent as they learn new skills. Group counselling and individual support provide the children and adolescents with opportunities to identify and express their feelings and work through problems.

Camp Towhee programs and activities are also a lot of FUN! Some program highlights include:

  • Drama
