Integra therapists meet with parents, children, and youth. Their work is based on mutually agreed upon goals that are reviewed and revised regularly. Integra helps parents and families to:
- Understand and deal with the child or youth's learning disability.
- Recognize how the learning disability affects the child or youth's feelings, relationships, and everyday functioning.
- Improve family relationships.
- Lessen family conflict.
- Support parents to manage their children's behaviour and other parenting stresses.
